From May 29th 2018, the regulations on how we keep and use your personal information are changing.
The General Data Protection Regulations means there are several new rules on your rights and our responsibilities when holding your personal information.
We must ensure we have your explicit consent to hold your data and we must have your consent to use it to support you and to send you information through emails or the post.
We cannot assume that we have your consent to, for instance, send you our newsletter; tell you about events or activities or refer you to other organisations for support.
Without your consent, we will regrettably have to remove your details from our database and will no longer be able to contact you.
If you want to remain registered with Carers Northumberland please complete the form on our website and submit it to us by May 4th 2018.
You will find the form here...
We respect your privacy and we do not pass on any personal information you have consented to give to us, unless you say we can and we have your consent (the exceptions are if we must by law or if there is a clear need to safeguard the welfare of someone using the forum or our services).
The information we collect is used to provide you with support, advice, access to groups and activities, information, carer support fund or emergency cards.
If you would like to know more or need help or advice to complete the form, please contact the office on 01670 320025 or email:email@example.com
