When the surgeries are open and how to make appointments with Doctors or Nurses.
We have a range of services from Asthma Clinics to Chronic Disease Clinics.
From Friday 2 March the Urgent Care Centre will change from 24 hours a day to 8am to 10pm, seven days a week.
This decision has been made as part of our winter resilience planning across our emergency care services and will release an additional 56 hours of nursing time for the emergency department every week.
This will help us to manage the demand for services and ensure that patients have access to the highest possible quality and safety of care over the busy winter period.
Patients who are not in immediate need of critical, life-saving care that they should contact NHS 111 to seek advice 24 hours a day.
Northern Doctors Urgent Care – contactable via 111 – will continue to use the centre as one of their (three) bases should an urgent GP appointment be needed overnight.
